Details
Short but sweet DELICIOUS! I met up with my girlie (met on another FTLO tour) a few days before the tour started. We did the Hop on Hop Off tour and also did the floating garden boat in Xochimilco*. Once the tour officially started, our local guide Nico was amazing! Every restaurant recommendation was SPOT ON! There are walking food tours that are unlimited(COME HUNGRY) and a history tour that is funny and interesting. The cooking class was really fun & educational. FYI this trip will ruin “regular” tacos. Nothing tastes like a CDMX taco!
Not included in the tour but would recommend
- Hop On Hop Off Tour
- Easy way to get around the city (maps can be confusing)
- Buy tickets on the bus with cash or card
- Hot Air Balloon Ride over Teotihuacan (R/T transport, w/ extra time to visit pyramids)
- Booked through Viator, Bring cash
- They will offer a guided tour of the pyramids (additional cost), we loved it!
- Xochimilco floating garden boats*
- Booked through Viator, Bring cash for the floating vendors
*the itinerary for this trip has changed since I traveled and now includes Xochimilco!
Restaurants we tried in free time
